Andrew Yoon is the Chief Operating Officer of GreenOak, based in Los Angeles. He is responsible for the day to day global business and is a member of the Firm’s Operating Committee and Investment Committees. Andrew has been with GreenOak since inception in 2010 with over 20 years experience in real estate investing.
Prior to joining GreenOak, Andrew was a Managing Director and served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing in Asia. He was part of the management team overseeing a $30bn+ portfolio in Asia while living in Tokyo from 2001 to 2006 and Hong Kong from 2006 to 2010. Andrew oversaw the expansion of MSREI into China, Australia and India. Prior to his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Andrew worked as an investment banker in leveraged finance at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette/Credit Suisse.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
